OCR: Applying styles to elements Once you've created a style you can easily apply it to a closed element. To apply a style: Select the element(s) Click the style name on the "Styles' palette Jist. An element must be closed to display and print a fill style Note: If "Changing elements changes defaults" is checked in the "More preferences dialog box, then each time you apply different style it becomes the default style The style automatically applied to the next element you draw. If you want to determine when the default style changes, choose "Preferences from the File menu, click "More and then uncheck "Changing elements changes defaults Click close each dialog box. list
